Revit Technician

AUTOCAD/REVIT TECHNICIAN

BT Bell offer high end services in civil and structural engineering. We offer engineering design solutions across a variety of sectors, from large scale multi-million pound industrial projects down to smaller residential schemes. We understand that no two engineering problems are the same, and use our expertise and experience to develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the client.

Due to recent appointments on large scale power projects, BT Bell Consulting Engineers is looking to strengthen their Engineering team with an AutoCAD and Revit technician. Based at our office in Hexham, Northumberland, you will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and quality of drawing work undertaken at the office.

You will report directly to the Engineering Lead and the responsibilities will include:

· Carry out AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing tasks with high quality output with minimal supervision.

· Experience in structural steelwork detailing and RC detailing.

· Produce 3D models in Revit with an understanding of BIM and project collaboration with other external parties.

· Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations.

· Manage CAD workload and support the other technicians.

· Raising and resolution of technical queries

· Establish working relationships with clients and supply chain representatives.

Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer

Salary: Negotiable

We are looking to employ a chartered civil and structural engineer to work with our team of chartered engineers and technicians and we would expect the highest professional ethics and standards. Ideally the candidate should be conversant with design software such as Staad, Building Designer, Micro-drainage, Ram Structural System, Autocad and Revit, however training will be provided where required.

All Staff are on the same standard contract:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Paid overtime
  • 20 days holiday rising to 25 day plus.
  • 4% salary contribution to pension.
  • Life assurance policy.
  • Professional fees and exam fees paid

Graduate Engineers

Salary: Negotiable

We are looking to employ high quality graduate engineers to work within our multidisciplinary office. You will work with our team of chartered engineers and technicians and we would expect the highest professional ethics and standards to be upheld by the employee. Any experience with software is beneficial, but not neccessary as training will be provided where required. We are also happy to consider those who are currently studying and will graduate soon.
All Staff are on the same standard contract:
